Election of New Executive
This will be one of the major items of the Annual General Meeting to be held at 8:00P.M., on Monday May 11th., in the N.R.C. auditorium on Sussex Drive. The current executive of seven consists of:
President Secretary Treasurer
Programme Director Publicity Director Editor of the Journal Membership Director
It is proposed that the presidency be of one year tenure and all other positions of two years tenure. However, in the interests of continuity of the executive, it is proposed that, in the 1970 elections only, the positions
Membership Director
Editor of the Journal
be one year appointments. This will mean that in all subsequent annual elections only four members of the executive will normally be changed.
This year all executive positions are open for election and any member interested in serving on the executive is required to be nominated in writing be two other members of the O.G.S. Nominees will be required to address the membership at the A.G.M. outlining their interests and projections of proposed activities for the O.G.S.
In the interests of organization of the A.G.M. nominees are requested to make known the executive positions which they are seeking to the programme director C.J. Everett (Te. 234- 1453 ) preferably at least one week before the A.A.M.
